About the Role:
Badlands Distribution Inc is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Representative to join our growing team in Fargo, ND! In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our financial operations running smoothly while working in a fast-paced distribution environment. Responsibilities:
- Process and post incoming payments, including checks, ACH, and credit card transactions
- Generate and distribute accurate customer invoices in a timely manner
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances and past-due accounts
- Communicate with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to address account-related inquiries
- Assist with month-end closing processes and AR reporting
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a related accounting role
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial recordkeeping
- Excellent communication skills for professional customer and vendor interactions
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Experience in distribution, wholesale, or logistics industry is a plus

Compensation: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
